Credit Trader – London (Associate)

We are currently advising a leading global institution on the continued expansion of their leading fixed income and credit trading effort in London. The bank runs a leading global credit trading platform, working within a prominent sales, trading, research and underwriting effort.

This opportunity will see the chosen individual join the high yield credit trading team, to cover the leveraged credit space. The chosen candidate will focus on:

• Experience in executing trades and market-making across high yield credit (cash and CDS)
• An ability to liaise comprehensively with desk analysis, research publishing, and sales teams as well as the further trading team on a global basis
• Developing investment and trade ideas for the desk's HY positioning efforts
• Enhancing the team's institutional client coverage, developing client relationships with hedge funds, real money, banks, etc.
• Supporting the risk management and hedging of the high yield books in London

Our client would ideally seek an individual who is presently sat within a leveraged credit trading seat at the Associate level, but will consider talented candidates up to VP. However, they are keen not to discount any professionals who have gained experience trading high yield-adjacent credits, across investment grade, loans, CDS, CVA/XVA, corporate hybrids or others.
