Vehicle Builder/ Coach Builder

Job Description
We are looking for a Coach Builder/ Vehicle Builder to carry out Works on a fleet of Busses in High Wycombe on a permanent basis. This role is permanent Days
This role is based working Monday to Friday Mostly with occasional Weekends (at an enhanced rate)
The salary is £43,929pa for a basic 40 Hr week
Rolling Stock, Aerospace and Marine as well as other transferable industries will be considered
Your Tasks
• Construct and assemble vehicle bodies, including panels, frames, and other structural components.
• Repair and replace damaged vehicle body parts.
• Follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise and accurate assembly.
• Use various tools and machinery to complete tasks.
• Inspect and test completed vehicles to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to improve efficiency and solve technical challenges.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Your Profile
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Bodybuilder or similar
• Strong knowledge of vehicle construction techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Holder of a recognised apprenticeship qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ 3) in relevant vehicle vocation
