About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA) with expertise in supporting English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our young learners, helping them navigate their educational experience and thrive in a dynamic setting.
Application Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role, with a focus on supporting EAL students.
• Strong understanding of Key Stage 1 curriculum and special educational needs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and students.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support to Key Stage 1 students, focusing on EAL needs to enhance their language skills and overall academic progress.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging booster sessions and interventions to support students’ individual learning requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment, ensuring every child feels valued and supported.
• Work closely with parents and guardians to provide updates on students’ progress and strategies for continued learning at home.
• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes students’ confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
