At our new Siemens Mobility Components facility in Goole, this role would be part of the team responsible for overhauling, root cause analysis & repair of a range of different components such as gearboxes, motors, fans, and HVAC systems, all of which are used and supplied back into the Rail industry.
Our components facility is a part of the new Siemens Mobility rail village and is an ever-growing part of the business where we strive to take on new projects expanding our team and our knowledge to be able to deliver a more innovative service to our customers.

Whilst on the Apprenticeship you will be following an apprenticeship standard ST0432 Engineering Fitter.

We will create a personalised training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of your programme, you will be equipped with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to kickstart your professional career here at Siemens Mobility.
As an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter, you would ensure products and solutions are assembled efficiently, safely, at the right cost and to the right level of quality in order to meet customer order requirements & industry standards alike.
