PMI is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager who will be accountable for streamlining the marketing team's operations, advancing marketing priorities, and ensuring excellence in marketing delivery and effectiveness. The role is operating at tactical, strategic and operational levels, and adept at handling things that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between departmental areas of responsibility.



What you'll bring to the role:




  • Marketing Technology (Martech): Lead the investigation, implementation and training on how Marketing leverages technology to increase productivity including the use of AI tools. Train team members on Martech tools and best practices to maximize usage and enhance productivity. Promote the adoption of AI tools and practices across the marketing team, ensuring they contribute to higher efficiency and performance.




  • Marketing Process Management: Partner across marketing to create and optimize the marketing operating system which combines people, process and tech to provide visibility, data and predictability on resource allocation, planning processes, and execution across the team with integrated timelines. Serve as key voice to keep documentation up to date and look for ways to continuously improve the effectiveness of marketing processes, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.




  • Strategic Planning: Support coordination of strategic planning and compilation of business reporting.




  • Budget Management: Support Director in managing the marketing budget tracking and financial accruals in partnership with Finance. Monitor budget utilization, identifying opportunities for optimization and cost-effective strategies. Manage Jira tickets and procurement requirements to ensure a streamlined and disciplined approach to marketing spend. Proactively tracks spend to forecast, identifying opportunities and challenges.

  • Vendor Engagement: Support Director with managing all vendor relations, from media platforms, event vendors and agencies to contractors and consultants to continuously evaluate vendor performance and cost-effectiveness.



Role Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field; Graduate degree preferred

  • 5-7 years of experience in managing marketing operational strategies and Martech usage in distributed teams; optimization and cost effectiveness of strategic planning.

  • Experience in a strategic and creative environment working with internal resources (across marketing channels), as well as external agencies, contractors, and vendors.

  • Experience with Martech including Monday.com or similar, Adobe Creative Cloud, Frame.io, Sitecore, Marketing Automation, Adobe Analytics, ChatGPT, Grammarly, adobe firefly, Microsoft copilot

  • Experience in agency or internal agency estimating work, trafficking projects, and resource management a plus

  • Business reporting and analytics

  • Data management

  • Experience of working in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English)

  • PMP Preferred
