Early Years Foundation Stage Teacher

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £160-£210 per day

Location: Barnet

Job Type: Full Time, Long Term

About the role:

As an EYFS Teacher at this warm and inclusive school, you will play a key role in shaping the educational journey of our youngest learners. Beginning in January 2025, this long-term position offers you the opportunity to build strong connections with students and colleagues alike, truly becoming part of the school community. Your role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum, helping children develop core skills in a creative and interactive way. You will be supported by an experienced teaching assistant in class, as well as a dedicated leadership team committed to promoting your professional growth.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and EYFS teaching experience.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and development milestones.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for nurturing young minds and encouraging a love of learning.
• Commitment to fostering a safe, supportive, and fun learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate lessons for EYFS students.
• Foster social, emotional, and academic development through interactive play and hands-on activities.
• Create a welcoming classroom environment that celebrates diversity and inclusivity.
• Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining open communication with parents and caregivers.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share effective teaching strategies.
