Senior Marketing Executive – B2B Events

London, UK (Hybrid) – 2 days in the office – International Travel

£Up to 35,000 + bonuses 5k


My client provides business executives worldwide with access to tailored conferences, large-scale events, virtual events, and digital content, keeping them up-to-date with industry trends, technological developments, and the regulatory landscape.

Joining one of the fastest growing businesses running over 14 market-leading, high-value global conferences across the US, Canada and Europe within AI, Energy & Manufacturing.

You’ll work closely with marketing, content, production and sales to grow our events and community.

What Will I Be Working On?

Here’s a summary of what you can expect as our Senior Events Marketing Executive:

  • Writing creative marketing strategies for your events that help us to drive quality leads
  • Working across a variety of channels to identify new prospects and increase brand awareness including but not limited to email marketing, social media, SEO and PPC
  • Developing and managing long-term and effective partnerships with leading associations and publications, globally
  • Proactively nurture all prospects and past customers to increase revenue and deliver on targets
  • Preparing enticing and informative copy from event launch to event end
  • Establishing close working relationships with key stakeholders including our expert speakers and innovative sponsors to gain their buy-in to promote our events through their networks
  • Enthusiastically reviewing the impact of marketing campaigns and activities and using this data to identify future opportunities or challenges.

What Can I Bring to the Team

  • 2+ years’ marketing experience preferred, ideally gained within B2B publishing, conferences, events, exhibitions or a membership organisation
  • Have a proven track record of assisting in the delivery of marketing campaigns including email marketing, social media, stakeholder engagement, media partners, data management and analysis
  • A good understanding of effective copywriting in a business setting
  • A data-driven and commercial mindset with some experience in managing marketing budgets and costs
  • A creative problem-solver who will consider all solutions before sharing with the wider team
  • Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines when needed
  • Ability to travel internationally when required
