We're currently seeking an experienced individual to come on board in London as Senior Communications Specialist. This is a critical role for us that will oversee marketing and communications activities for the LGF (Lighthouse Green Fuels) project in the UK. The successful candidate will develop and implement effective communications strategies for external customers and stakeholders around the LGF project and Alfanar Energy UK, ensuring a strong brand and public perception.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for effective communication strategies for the Company internally and externally
• Responsible for timely and accurate press releases and media activity internally and externally with media outlets, consultants and agencies,.
• Develop strategic communication plans via market research and input from management and central marketing team in KSA
• Plan and manage events and conference attendance and participation, including logistics, promotional materials, photographers, media engagement
• Copywrite for social media, the project website and newsletters
• Manage the Project’s website
• Coordinate with central marketing team in KSA to ensure consistency in terms of voice, branding, messaging, and frequency of posting
• Coordinate site visits for politicians, potential partners and investors
• Work alongside designated consultants to coordinate website, media, animation, copywriting support, proofreading the newsletter
• Keep up to date the Company’s and the Project’s social media channels
• Engage with local communities and venues for the purpose of arranging events and newsletters, and ensure successful outcome.
• Ensure all online and offline marketing/press activity is in-line with the Company’s brand guidelines

Who we're seeking:

• 5+ years’ experience in marketing and/or communications
• Degree qualified (Bachelors or Masters) in Marketing/ Digital Communications/ Public Relations or other related degree
• Experience of writing, proofreading and publishing news, announcements and press-releases
• Good knowledge of social media channels and building and maintaining the Company’s page
• Graphic design skills are advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, flexibility, efficiency and initiative
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines on time
• Experience in managing events
