Are you a talented and driven Graduate Cost Manager with 1-2 years of experience, eager to accelerate your career in the world of commercial real estate? My client, a leading global real estate organisation, are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their London Building Consultancy arm, working on high-end commercial fit-out and new-build projects with large corporate organisations.
You will be working for a leading real estate organisation, renowned for their innovative and high-profile developments. Their close-knit Cost Management team of 18 plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional quality and value for their clients, combining expert knowledge with a forward-thinking approach to modern construction.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Graduate Cost Manager, you will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, contributing to a variety of projects ranging from high-end commercial fitouts to ground-breaking new-build developments. Your role will involve:
- Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
- Working alongside experienced colleagues on tender analysis, procurement, and contract administration.
- Supporting project delivery, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in cost management.
- Engaging with clients and stakeholders to build strong professional relationships.
- Gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of quantity surveying, from pre-contract to post-contract stages.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in the construction or real estate sector, with a focus on commercial projects.
- Education: A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong numerical and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm: A passion for the built environment and a desire to grow your career in a supportive and professional setting.
- Communication: Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and solutions effectively.
This organisation is extremely social, whether it be organised team socials or charity events, there is always something going on.
You would also be part of their UK APC program, and you will be assigned a one-on-one mentor to support your through your chartership.
