Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Intern to join our Omnichannel Operations team. This cross-functional position focuses on logistics and operations, requiring close collaboration with various departments and direct interaction with our wholesale customers. The primary objective is to ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining a high standard of service and efficiently addressing any operations-related inquiries.


REQUIREMENTS


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

OPERATIONS / LOGISTICS


Shipment management (wholesale distribution):


  • Monitors business distribution by coordinating with clients, supplier’s DC, local DC and in line with business needs
  • Provides required paperwork as well as after-delivery support to clients
  • Provides admin support with additional requests for the shipments coordination
  • Manages the calendar to ensure smooth scheduling of wholesale deliveries
  • Liaises with credit managers in case non-compliance charges investigations are needed
  • Liaises with HQ and internally in case of any special requests/requirements from the customers


COMMERCIAL / BACK OFFICE


Order management:


  • Coordinates with all Key-Accounts and Sales Managers in the finalisation of the Purchase Orders ensuring these are in line with business directives and checking their correspondence to the contractual relevant terms.
  • Function as main point of reference in case of quantities/values misalignments.


IT/System management:


  • Ensures the new customers’ data is correctly reflected in the system.
  • Periodic checks of correct system’s flows, based on system’s needs and coordinated by line manager.
