About the role: SEN TA: Are you ready to make a meaningful impact as an SEN Teaching Assistant? As an SEN TA, you’ll be providing one-on-one and small group support, helping to tailor learning experiences and engage students in creative ways. Application Requirements:
• Relevant experience working with children, ideally in an educational or care setting.
• Knowledge of ASD and other SEN needs (experience preferred but training provided).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
• Enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about helping students achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support to students with ASD, ensuring they feel included and engaged in classroom activities.
• Assist with the delivery of individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt materials as needed.
• Support students in managing emotions and behaviors, promoting a calm, safe, and positive environment.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement strategies that improve focus, social interaction, and self-confidence.
• Monitor progress, offering feedback and insights to the teaching team and contributing to planning meetings.
