Informatica Specialist - Cloud Data Governance & Catalog

We are in the process of helping our client in identifying Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) Specialist Full Time role in Chennai and it is Work from Home Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) Specialist Job Type : Full Time Work Timings : 2 pm -11 pm IST Working Days : 5 days working (Mon to Fri) Job Positions : 2 Location : Chennai (Work From Home) Job Description : - 5-8 years of overall experience in data management and governance roles. - 2-4 years of hands-on experience with Informatica CDGC, Informatica Axon, or other similar data governance tools. - Proficiency in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) solutions. - Experience with metadata management, data cataloging, and lineage tracking. - Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools, such as Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI). - Understanding of data quality principles and tools like Informatica Data Quality (IDQ). - Knowledge of API integrations and automation tools. - Experience with reporting and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to work independently and lead data governance initiatives. Key Responsibilities : - CDGC Implementation : Configure and deploy the Informatica CDGC solution to establish a robust data governance framework. - Metadata Management : Develop and manage metadata repositories, ensuring accurate data lineage and traceability. - Data Catalog Development : Create and maintain a comprehensive data catalog for enterprise-wide data assets to support discovery and self-service analytics. - Integration : Integrate CDGC with diverse data sources, including cloud and on-premise environments, ensuring seamless data flow. - Automation : Implement automated processes for data profiling, data quality checks, and metadata updates. - Data Governance Support : Assist in establishing data stewardship and governance policies, roles, and workflows. - Collaboration : Work closely with data stewards, business analysts, and IT teams to understand data requirements and ensure proper data governance practices. - Training and Documentation : Provide training to end-users and stakeholders on CDGC usage, features, and benefits. Prepare detailed technical documentation and governance guidelines. - Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Monitor the performance of CDGC implementations and troubleshoot issues as needed. - Must -Have- Skills : Informatica CDGC, Informatica Axon (or) other similar data governance tools, Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), Informatica PowerCenter( or) Informatica Cloud Data Integration (CDI) - Academic : Post Graduate /Graduate in Engineering /Technology (ref:hirist.tech)
