What are we looking for?


An individual with experience within a People function, who is actively driving their career and their own development. This is a fantastic opportunity for a People generalist looking to propel their career!


What will you bring?

  • Good IT competence (Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, HR systems e.g., Fourth Hospitality, Mapal & Egencia);
  • Works well under pressure to meet deadlines whilst managing conflicting demands;
  • Confident to role model best practice behaviours;
  • Professional development within People function would be beneficial (CIPD, university degree)

Here’s more detail on the day to day


  • Play an integral role in driving Azzurri’s people initiatives to deliver on our People Pillars and Recipe for a Better Future goals, outlined in the enclosed document.
  • Manage the HR processes with accuracy and care; starters, leavers, parental leave, issuing contracts of employment and starter packs, right to work compliance, and payroll & benefit administration.
  • As a champion of our inclusive recruitment practices, you will advise hiring managers and support our Education & Apprenticeship Manager with delivering recruitment days, screening and sourcing.
  • Lead, monitor, and influence team member engagement through our ‘You matter, we’re listening survey’ and ad hoc pulse surveys.
  • Act as a key point of contact for all employee relation matters, ensuring that concerns are addressed in a sensitive manner and resolved in line with legal and company policy, coaching line managers as required.
  • Take a supportive role in creating, coordinating, and delivering our Azzurri development workshops, helping to nurture our leaders of the future and keep the Azzurri talent pipeline alive.
  • Work cross functionally and cross brand to provide administrative support to our reward processes including the annual salary review and annual bonus spreadsheets and issuing confirmation of salary increases and bonus payments.
  • Continually elevate our external employer branding by engaging with future talent in a creative and relevant way through out recruitment platforms.
  • Help drive our culture of inclusion and steer our inclusion group, empowering others to take action and deliver an annual calendar of events.
  • Act as the guardian of our internal Share Point comms platform, ensuring all resources are relevant and company policies are legally sound and easily accessible to team members.
  • Support the Chapel Street teams as a first port of call for any people systems, issues, and access requests.
  • Maintain HR files and employee records: keeping all records up to date and legally compliant.
  • Ready to step in to provide administrative support and get involved in ad hoc project work when required.
