Legal Conference Producer / Remote / London / £45,000
Overview of the Conference Producer:
An international media organisation is looking for a Conference Producer to join their leading events team. This role will include conducting thorough market research, writing engaging content, recruiting speakers, and expanding their customer community.
The successful candidate will be a flexible, personable and self-starter who will thrive in a fast-paced environment and can work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
Role & Responsibilities of the Conference Producer:
Conduct independent research on event themes, relevant news, potential venues, and prospective speakers.
Cultivate and enhance an advisory network while collaborating with (url removed) editorial and industry associations to establish key messaging for events.
Build a database of subject matter experts and target, recruit, and secure high-profile speakers, keynotes, and panellists
Coordinate with speakers by participating in panel/research calls.
Support the Sales team by identifying potential sponsors and collaborating to finalise deals.
Work with Marketing to develop messaging and identify target audiences.
Oversee onsite content delivery, managing all track sessions, keynotes, plenaries, and other forms of in-person content.
Possess a working knowledge of AV specifications and best practices for effective content delivery.
Be prepared to moderate on-stage sessions as needed.
Contribute to the expansion of the international conferences portfolio by identifying key trends and opportunities.
Travel to events to manage onsite speaker and content activities.
Essential Skills of the Conference Producer:
2-3 years of experience in developing conference content and recruiting speakers.
Knowledge of the legal industry is highly desirable.
Proven track record in executive speaker outreach via traditional and social media channels.
Strong customer service skills, with a talent for building relationships and solving problems.
Expertise in copywriting and proofreading.
Professional demeanour, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Capable of gathering, organising, and summarising large amounts of data.
Highly organised and able to meet deadlines.
