Now part of GlobalData, and with rapid evolution across the financial services sectors we are focusing growth on our Financial Services portfolio. Hence, we are looking for a self-motivated and ambitious individual capable of taking ownership of the products to grow our new membership offering.
The role…
The primary objective of this role is to grow the existing financial services client base. You will be tasked to secure new revenue & new clients across our financial services titles. You will take effective ownership of the products and the role will require a hunter mentality. You will take ownership of the existing portfolio and manage the renewal of these clients, rolling our new membership offering.
What you’ll be doing…
-Outbound prospecting calls at a mid-management to executive level at Financial Institutions.
- 5 pitches / 2 presentations / 1 proposals
-Account management and renewal of existing subscriptions
-Arranging and carrying out presentations VIA web & face to face when valuable
-Identifying new opportunities globally
-Growing existing client subscriptions through deeper, cross-departmental discussions.
-Responsible for revenue generation, content feedback, account targeting, product positioning, social media etc.
-Accepting orders, closing sales, maintaining customer records and completing required CRM activity.
-Attending internal and external product related events.
What we look for…
To be successful in this position the ability to engage with confidence & demonstrable industry knowledge is key. Advancing calls through the sales cycle by linking a prospects interest, priorities & challenges to the product strengths.
Base level requirements:
-1 to 3 years proven New Business experience
-Degree (or equivalent), in Economics, Business Studies, Finance, Politics, International Studies or similar
-Proven B2B sales experience in a related role
-A relevant background selling into Financial Services industry (Desirable)
A successful international sales executive will have:
-An exceptional end to end sales skill set
-Have excellent oral and written communication skills
-Confidence presenting and dealing with Senior Executives
-Able to translate complex topics into simple solutions
-Determined, enthusiastic & Independent in attitude
-Quick thinking, organised multi-tasker
-Hold continued interest in financial markets.
-Be able to speak more than one language (European/Arabic) being an advantage (but not essential)
