Curriculum Manager of Maths

We are seeking to appoint a skilled Interim Curriculum Manager – Maths (Access) who will be responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of the course programmes. You will be leading teaching, learning and assessment to implement the aims and objectives of the College Strategic Plan. The ideal candidate will possess all or most of the following:

• Experience of providing excellent learning, teaching and assessment to students or training to groups
• Comprehensive understanding and experience of awarding organisation quality processes
• A recognised teaching qualification
• A strong commitment to safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults

The ideal candidate will possess all or most of the following:

• Substantial teaching experience, some of which should be in Further Education
• Experience of leading a team/tutoring experience
• Curriculum leadership/coordination experience
• Up to date knowledge of the relevant subject area
• Good pedagogic practice
• Relevant assessors’ awards or a willingness to work towards these
• A recognised teaching qualification
• A strong commitment to safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults

Daily Rate: £300
