Job Description

We are seeking a visionary Creative Director with a strong background in conceptual creativity, art direction, and design to lead the creative department at one of London’s fastest growing digital agencies. The ideal candidate is a seasoned creative leader with a strategic mindset, a passion for pushing boundaries in the digital space, and a dedication to developing creative processes that support a growing, dynamic and evolving agency environment.


Key Responsibilities:


Creative Leadership:

  • Lead and inspire the creative team in developing innovative, impactful digital concepts and visual campaigns that align with our clients’ goals and brand voices.
  • Drive the creative direction across multiple channels, including social media, digital advertising, and interactive design, ensuring cohesion, creativity, and alignment with strategy.


Art Direction and Design:

  • Oversee the art direction and design process from concept to execution, maintaining a high standard of quality and creativity.
  • Provide hands-on support in crafting visuals, refining concepts, and ensuring that all designs meet our strategic objectives and brand guidelines.


Pitching and Business Development:

  • Lead creative pitches for new business, showcasing agency expertise, innovation, and strategic insight to win clients and expand our portfolio.
  • Develop compelling creative presentations and collaborate with account and strategy teams to present solutions that resonate with potential clients.


Strategic Partnership:

  • Collaborate with strategy, account, and technical teams to ensure creative solutions align with strategic goals and client needs.
  • Maintain a solution-oriented approach to address challenges, balancing creativity with functionality and business goals.


Team Management:

  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a dynamic, agile team, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and growth.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and maintain a balance in team workload to meet deadlines while upholding high standards of creativity and productivity.


Process Development:

  • Develop, implement, and refine processes to optimise creative workflows and foster innovation.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring efficient project delivery and continuous improvement in creative operations.


Growth Mindset:

  • Embrace and lead change, keeping the agency at the forefront of digital trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, innovation, and creative excellence within the team.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Creative Director, Associate Creative Director or Creative Lead in a digital agency or similar setting.
  • Expertise in digital design, with a robust portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across platforms.
  • Proficiency in leading conceptual work, as well as hands-on experience with design software and tools – Figma competence is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of social media, digital marketing, and the latest creative trends and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement creative processes to support a high-performing, fast-paced team.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and motivational management style.
