About the role

You will lead all aspects of the recruitment process and HR administration, including maintaining HR files, overseeing annual training, and ensuring compliance. You will be responsible for managing all SCR-related activities across North Bridge House Schools. This position requires exceptional supervision and people management skills, strong time management, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.


What you will be doing:

You will handle all administrative tasks related to the recruitment cycle, including coordinating new post requests, leaver/replacement requests, and change of employment forms. You will collaborate with recruiting managers to secure approval from Head Office, manage the safer recruitment process, and ensure all candidate documentation is verified. Responsibilities also include managing job applications, organising interviews, issuing employment contracts, and maintaining the Single Central Register. Additionally, you will analyse absence reports, ensure IR35 assessments for contractors, coordinate SCR Champions, oversee staff training compliance, and provide cover for colleagues. Minute-taking for formal meetings and strict adherence to GDPR are also required, along with other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Who we are looking for:

• Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent verbal and written communication, including high level of listening and analytical skills

• Qualification in Business Administration, Human Resources is desirable

• An ability to understand and work with legislation and regulatory frameworks

• Previous experience in the education sector
