Key Responsibilities
• Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including social media, industry events, and networking.
•Stakeholder mapping: identify and build new contacts of decision makers at existing and target clients through desk-based research
• Outbound Outreach: Conduct cold calls, send personalized emails, and use social selling techniques to engage prospects and generate interest in our event offerings.
• Qualifying Leads: Assess and qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and timeline to ensure they align with our services.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to schedule meetings and handover qualified leads for further engagement.
• CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospects in our CRM system, ensuring data integrity and tracking progress.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands to effectively communicate our value proposition.
• Follow-ups: Conduct timely follow-ups with prospects to nurture relationships and keep our services top-of-mind.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates on lead generation activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to management.
• Event Participation: Attend industry events and trade shows to network, gather leads, and promote our services.
• Ad hoc projects: Support the sales team on ad hoc projects that help drive forward bookings and onsite rebook
Skills Required
•Demonstrable experience in sales development, lead generation, or a related role, preferably within the events industry.
•Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence potential clients.
•Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using CRM software, email marketing tools, and social media platforms for outreach.
•Goal-Oriented: Strong desire to meet and exceed monthly lead generation targets.
•Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the sales team and other departments.
•Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
