We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing Director with a strategic, results-oriented approach to drive lead generation, ensure ROI on our marketing investments, and guide external agencies and vendors to meet our business needs.

Role Overview:

Reporting to our leadership team, The Marketing Director will be responsible for managing our outsourced marketing channels, working closely with external agencies/vendors to ensure campaigns align with our business objectives, and directly generate qualified leads that translate to funded projects. Success in this role will be defined by increased lead quality, efficient agency performance, and measurable sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Agency/Vendor Partnerships: Serve as the primary liaison between HFS and marketing vendors , ensuring that all campaign deliverables meet expectations, timelines, and performance benchmarks.
  • Drive Lead Generation and ROI: Oversee all lead generation efforts, focusing on improving conversion rates across digital, social media, print, and direct mail channels. This role is responsible for analyzing lead quality and implementing changes with agencies as needed.
  • Campaign and Channel Management: Coordinate with external vendors to execute marketing initiatives, overseeing spend on digital ad placements, keyword targeting, and social media ads to maximize returns on our marketing investments. This includes working with agencies to define strategies, setting performance metrics, and tracking effectiveness.
  • Website Optimization and Analytics: Collaborate with the web development team to improve website functionality, enhance user experience, and boost conversion rates. Identify actionable insights from user behavior and work with agencies to adapt strategies.
  • Market Analysis and Industry Trends: Conduct and review market research to identify new opportunities, adjusting strategies based on emerging trends and competitive analysis..
  • Sales and Marketing Alignment: Work closely with the sales team to develop targeted collateral/promotional materials and support customer acquisition strategies, ensuring marketing activities directly contribute to sales goals.
  • Budget and Spend Management: Oversee marketing expenditures, making data-driven decisions to allocate resources effectively across campaigns.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Prepare and present monthly reports detailing ROI, lead generation metrics, and campaign performance to senior management.
  • Event Coordination (e.g., Trade Shows): Manage the execution of industry trade show events, coordinating with vendors for logistics, promotion, and post-event follow-up. Ensure that events align with marketing and lead-generation goals without overextending time or resources.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in agency management, with an emphasis on driving results through third-party vendors.
  • Demonstrable experience in data-driven marketing, with the ability to develop and adapt strategies based on performance metrics.
  • Expertise in digital marketing platforms, including Google Ads, Bing, Meta, and email marketing tools like SendGrid.
  • Familiarity with marketing tech stacks (Tableau, SharePoint, Twilio, etc.) and an understanding of how AI tools can enhance marketing efforts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; advanced degree or specialization in Data Analytics is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a marketing role with oversight of agency partners, and a proven track record of increasing lead quality and sales growth. Also, agency experience would be a plus.
