Summary
The Marketing Coordinator represents the first impression when members and guests arrive at the club and they have a persistently positive and outgoing attitude in all situations. The Marketing Coordinator maintains and strengthens member relationships, oversees the day-to-day operations of the clubhouse, and is instrumental in planning events and activities that will enhance the overall experience of the current membership. The position also involves an important role in marketing the club to prospective members and the planning of promotional events.
Salary
$50,000 - $75,000 per year.
Primary Responsibilities
Clubhouse Operations. The Marketing Coordinator is the foundation of Freedom Supercars and is vital to our success. Charged with fostering a vibrant atmosphere where members can socialize comfortably, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for proactively engaging members, rapidly responding to and resolving issues, taking care of the physical space, and setting the overall tone for the clubhouse.
- Receptionist/Concierge. The Marketing Coordinator is the first person current members see when they walk in and the first person perspective members meet when they tour. When visitors call or arrive at the club, the Marketing Coordinator has primary responsibility for receiving members and guests, welcoming them, and ensuring that they are comfortable and properly cared for and that the purpose of their visit is addressed.
- Club Appearance. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all common areas are kept in pristine condition at all times. Initially, this means proper stocking of supplies, including cold and hot beverages and snacks, serving items, and keeping all the common areas clean and ready for member and visitor use.
- Administrative Assistance. The Marketing Coordinator will assist with administrative needs which include operating various software systems used to manage the business, identifying and working with vendors, scheduling meetings, making special arrangements, purchasing supplies or other items, and a wide variety of activities in support of the club.
Member Relations. The Marketing Coordinator should know all members by name and is responsible for fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment characterized by hospitality-class customer service and assisting members in a friendly, patient, and professional manner.
- Vehicle Reservations. As Members call in to reserve a car, the Marketing Coordinator manages the reservation system to ensure all details are entered correctly, avoiding double-booking and following Car Scheduling guidelines. The reservation schedule is then closely monitored to assure the vehicle staff has member and club vehicles ready and/or delivered at the scheduled times.
- Member Communication. The Marketing Coordinator will be involved in various regular communications via telephone and email. All correspondence shall be handled professionally and courteously and will include things such as reservation information, status updates, announcements, event invitations, and more.
- Member Events. The Marketing Coordinator should research and develop creative ways to continually add more exciting and positive experiences for the members; then assist with the planning and implementation of member events that include driving opportunities, tastings, activities at the club, and experiences at other locations. All provide a social opportunity for members to become better acquainted and increase member satisfaction.
Marketing and Sales Support. The Marketing Coordinator plays an important role in marketing and sales support through a variety of activities aimed to gain recognition for Freedom Supercars throughout the local community.
- Business Development. The Marketing Coordinator will identify and contact charitable organizations to learn about upcoming events, form relationships with luxury retailers for possible promotional opportunities, and build rapport with local restaurants and businesses for the benefit of our members.
- Event Planning & Hosting. Promotional events for prospective members are an important component of the club’s success. The Marketing Coordinator will assist in developing ideas, conducting research, and obtaining quotes to determine the viability of new event ideas. Assisting in the development, implementation and participating at monthly events as a host is also a responsibility.
- Spokesperson. The Club often participates at local charity galas, auctions, golf tournaments and other events to promote the club. The Marketing Coordinator may represent the club at these types of events and will be well versed and prepared to speak with guests about the many benefits Freedom Supercars has to offer.
- Social Media Specialist. The Marketing Coordinator should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content on those channels. Collaborating with the team, create a social media calendar and develop and curate engaging content while maintaining a unified brand voice when interacting with users.
- Influencer Marketing. Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
All Other Duties as Assigned. The Marketing Coordinator will be expected to assist in other duties, tasks, or assignments on an as-needed basis whenever requested. This will include supporting all other staff members to ensure every area of need is always covered, assisting with special projects, and any other tasks where assistance is needed.
Qualifications
- 3 years minimum work experience as a receptionist, assistant, marketing position, event host, or role with similar responsibilities
- An outgoing, engaging, curious, and customer-service-oriented attitude
- Exceptional written and verbal communicator with a strong front office, professional image, and familiarity with high-end hospitality or retail environments
- Outgoing personality, comfortable giving tours, attending networking events, and furthering Freedom Supercar’s mission
- Excellent speech, and communication skills, and are at ease working with everyone from vendors to business owners, doctors, lawyers, and executives of large corporations
- A self-starter, with the ability to work in an environment with minimal daily supervision and eager to take over new challenges with a can-do attitude
- Process-oriented, and accustomed to establishing, tracking, and managing goals
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Familiar with and actively engaged in various social media platforms
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
- You are available to work occasionally on nights and weekends as needed
Business Hours
Normal hours of 8AM - 5PM.
Several evenings of the month we have events in the evening where it will go 5-8PM.
