Civil Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to oversee and manage projects related to underground utilities, wastewater, sanitary sewer, and siteworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Team Management: Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in underground utilities, wastewater, sanitary sewer, or siteworks.
- Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Preferred Experience:
- Underground Utilities: Experience managing projects involving the installation and maintenance of underground utility systems.
- Wastewater and Sanitary Sewer: Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and sanitary sewer systems.
- Siteworks: Experience with site preparation, grading, and other site development activities.
