Android Developer - Java/Kotlin

Job Description : Android Developer with Web Development Experience Position : Android & Web Developer Location : Bengaluru [WFO] Experience Level : 4 years Employment Type : Full-time We are looking for a highly skilled Android Developer with comprehensive knowledge of modern Android development and a strong grasp of web technologies. The ideal candidate should have expertise in both Java and Kotlin for Android development, along with experience in web frameworks such as Angular (Primary) and React (Optional). Cloud deployment is optional but database management and SQL knowledge and experience are essential. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications using Java and Kotlin, following the latest Android SDK and framework practices. - Implement and manage deployments, version releases and maintain code quality and performance for Android apps. - Work on UI/UX for mobile apps, ensuring seamless user experiences across various Android devices. - Build and deploy web applications using Angular and React frameworks, adhering to the best practices in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript. - Collaborate on mobile and web solutions, ensuring integration between the Android platform and web applications. - Work with databases like SQLite, MySQL, or MSSQL to handle mobile and web data storage and processing. Required Skills : Android Development : - Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin, Android SDK, Material Design, Jetpack libraries, Room, Data Binding, and the latest Android architecture components. Web Technologies : - Proficiency in Angular, React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and implementation of Material Design in web interfaces. Database Management : - Experience with SQLite, MySQL /MSSQL for efficient data handling, data management and storage. Tooling : - Familiarity with Android Studio, Gradle, ADB, and version control (Git). - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and release processes. Nice to Have : - Experience in mobile UI/UX design patterns and material design. - Understanding of Firebase and Google Play Services integration. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) for hosting, deployment, and monitoring. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 4 years of hands-on experience in Android development (Java/Kotlin). - 2 years of experience with modern web technologies (Angular/React). - Proven track record in developing and deploying scalable apps on both Android and web platforms.
