Job Description
We are seeking a highly qualified Medical Consultant with a degree in medicine to provide expert consultation and support in medical terms and practices, preferably but not required to be licensed or practicing in Italy . This role is essential for advising administrative teams on medical-related matters, assisting with medical documentation, and ensuring compliance with medical standards in non-clinical contexts. The ideal candidate will leverage their medical knowledge to provide insights into medical processes and consult on various healthcare-related issues within the organization. Key Responsibilities: Medical Consultation: Provide expertise on medical terminology, procedures, and standards to assist the administration with medical-related documentation and compliance. Policy and Compliance: Assist in the interpretation of medical guidelines and healthcare regulations, ensuring the organization’s practices align with current healthcare laws and ethical standards. Medical Documentation: Review, interpret, and assist in the preparation of medical documents, reports, and forms for accuracy and clarity in collaboration with non-medical staff. Training and Education: Provide educational support and training to administrative and support staff to enhance their understanding of medical practices and terminology. Medical Liaison: Act as a liaison between medical practitioners and the administrative department to facilitate smooth communication and understanding of medical practices and procedures. Consulting on Medical Protocols: Offer consultation on medical procedures and protocols, ensuring that administrative actions align with industry standards. Project Support: Provide expert input on healthcare-related projects, supporting teams with medical insights for operational or organizational development. Qualifications: Medical Degree: Must hold a valid degree in Medicine (e.g., MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution, not necessarily Italian. No Licensing Required: The role does not require the candidate to be licensed to practice medicine in Italy or elsewhere. Medical Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical terminology, practices, and procedures, with the ability to interpret and communicate them effectively to non-medical staff. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex medical information. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in reviewing and interpreting medical documents. Language: Fluency in Italian and English is required. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance in Italy and/or the US. Experience in a non-clinical medical advisory or educational role.
