Employer Description Our client is a supplier of lifting and material handling equipment Job Description One of our clients is seeking a skilled Fitter & Turner to join their team. Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality products to customers. Manufacturing products according to approved technical drawings. Conducting load testing of equipment. Performing machining and milling operations to meet minimum tolerances. Assembling and testing mechanical equipment. Repairing actuators, including stripping and assembling gearboxes. Performing maintenance, repairs, breakdown services, and inspections on in-house machinery. Must be willing to work overtime work when required. Qualifications Grade 12 or N3 qualification minimum education required Fitter and Turner trade test (Red Seal) Skills 5 years experience as a Fitter and Turner Precision machining and milling experience Good knowledge of various steel grades and machining techniques Experience in General welding /ARC welding
