Marketing Manager

Bullboat is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to elevate our brand and empower our partners. In this role, you’ll lead innovative marketing strategies, create engaging campaigns, and boost our brand presence across multiple channels. You’ll be instrumental in:

Bulboat is a boutique distributor focused on accelerating sales for innovative consumer products into the European retail market. Our mission is to bring exciting and innovative Pet, wellness, beauty, and kitchen products to retailers in Europe. We partner with the founders of successful US and Chinese-based start-ups, becoming their European head office, creating and delivering their sales and marketing strategy in a new territory.

Since beginning in 2008, we have launched nearly 100 brands and supply more than 100 of the largest retailers in Europe including Selfridges, John Lewis, Argos, Currys, Power, Elkjop, Boulanger, Fnac, Mediamarkt, Galaxus, Interdiscount and many more. We also own a wide range of our own and very exciting private label brands

Role Summary

Reporting directly to the CEO the successfully appointed Marketing Manager will cover a variety of duties including:

Retail experience a must!

• Campaign Management: Develop and execute digital, social, and content campaigns that captivate audiences and drive results.

• Trade Show & Retail Marketing: Plan and execute trade shows, support retailer-specific marketing initiatives, and provide tools that amplify our in-store presence.

• Sales Team Support: Partner closely with the sales team, providing marketing materials and strategies to help them exceed targets.

• Social Media & Display Ads: Manage social media content and display advertising to grow our brand and community.

• Retailer Relations & Billbacks: Oversee monthly “billback” Excel reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment, and review them with accounting during critical monthly calls.

• Strategic Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful, consistent messaging that resonates across channels. (example overseeing PR agencies across UK + Europe)

• Performance Analysis: Track and analyze the performance of campaigns, driving optimisation to maximise our marketing ROI.
