About the role: Year 2 Teacher: We are searching for an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join our “Outstanding” Roman Catholic primary school in the heart of Hammersmith & Fulham. Set to start this December, this long-term role offers an inspiring teaching opportunity in a beautiful, well-resourced school that promotes growth, faith, and respect.As a Year 2 Teacher, you will lead an engaged, inquisitive group of students eager to learn. You’ll plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the curriculum, fostering a love of learning and creativity. Our students enjoy a variety of clubs, including sports and the arts, supported by both staff and outside professionals, and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to and inspire these extracurricular programs.

Application Requirements: Year 2 Teacher:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Applicants must hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification recognized in the UK.
• Experience in Key Stage 1 Teaching – Previous experience teaching in KS1, especially Year 2, is preferred to ensure familiarity with the curriculum and developmental needs of this age group.
• Strong Classroom Management Skills – The ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment and manage classroom behavior effectively.
• Commitment to the School's Christian Ethos – While the role is open to applicants of all backgrounds, a respect for and commitment to promoting the school’s core Christian values and inclusive environment is essential.
• Enhanced DBS Check – A current Enhanced DBS check is required, or applicants must be willing to undergo one as part of the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons for Year 2 students.
• Create an inclusive and respectful classroom environment that supports the learning and development of each child.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing individualized support as needed.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a well-rounded, exciting educational experience.
• Encourage students’ participation in school life, including clubs and community events.
