Android App Developer - React Native/Java/Kotlin

Role Overview : As an Android App Developer specializing in React Native, you will build and maintain cutting-edge mobile applications for Android devices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure optimal app performance, and contribute to crafting exceptional user experiences. Role & Responsibilities : - Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications for Android platforms - Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using React Native Java/Kotlin - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features - Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications - Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs - Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization Ideal Candidate : - 3 years of experience in Android app development - Strong proficiency in React Native framework - Solid understanding of core Android development using Java and/or Kotlin - Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes - Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services - Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries - Understanding of Google's design principles and interface guidelines - Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning - Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git - Familiarity with continuous integration Must-Have Qualifications : Experience : - 3-5 YOE of experience in mobile app development . - At least 3 YOE of hands-on experience with React Native. - Must have 2 YOE in Kotlin or Java Technical Skills : - Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, and React Native. - Experience with native Android development using Java/Kotlin is a plus. - Familiarity with Android SDKs and development tools. - Knowledge of integrating third-party libraries and APIs. Tools & Frameworks : - Experience with build tools like Gradle and package managers like npm/yarn. - Familiarity with tools like Redux, MobX, or Context API for state management. Testing & Debugging : - Proficiency in testing tools like Jest, Detox, or Appium. - Experience using debugging tools like Android Studio and React Native Debugger.
