Job Description

Key responsibilities / main job duties: Instructor Duties: Develop and deliver training modules on UAV mechanical systems, including propulsion systems, airframes, avionics, and payloads. Conduct hands-on training sessions to educate personnel on UAV assembly, disassembly, troubleshooting, and repair techniques. Design training materials, manuals, and presentations to facilitate effective learning Technician Duties: Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of UAV mechanical components and systems. Conduct inspections and assessments to ensure UAVs meet operational standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on UAV performance and reliability. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and certification outcomes. Prepare detailed technical reports on UAV maintenance, repairs, and operational issues. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during training sessions and maintenance activities. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to UAV mechanical operations. Candidate requirements: Qualification and/or professional license(s): Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Years of experience needed: Proven experience (minimum 5 years) working with UAVs or similar aerospace systems Own transport (yes/no) Proficiency in certain applications and/or software Experience with ERP systems and logistics software Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CILT) preferred Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, CAA part 145) Sound knowledge of: UAV systems, components, and logistics challenges specific to the industry Additional information Strong understanding of UAV mechanical systems, including but not limited to propulsion, airframes, and avionics. Prior experience in instructional roles, conducting technical training sessions preferred. Certification in UAV operations and maintenance is highly advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel occasionally for training purposes.
