Pinnula is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Developer to join their team. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the development of software solutions. In this role, youll work towards yourLevel 4 Software Developer Apprenticeship,delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the development of software solutions.
- Gain an understanding with code writing in java, C#, XSLT, VBA as well as ACU COBOL.
- Involved with application support and peripheral applications
- Collaborate with senior developers and team members to design, develop, and test software applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to implement features and functionality.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues.
- Testing of new and existing software.
- Contribute to the overall improvement of the development process through innovative ideas and suggestions
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours&Benefits:
- Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
- £16,000 Per annum
- 22 Days + bank holidays

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
- Eager to learn
- Previous coding experience
- Good communication skills
- A positive 'can do' attitude
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and English
