PR and Social Lead
A 9 month contract focused on driving PR, social media, and influencer engagement for a leading fashion retail brand.
In this role, you'll report to the Head of Marketing and collaborate closely with the Campaign and Media teams. You will be responsible for defining and executing the PR, Social & Influencer strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall brand direction. This role requires hands-on leadership, overseeing all PR activities from strategy through execution.
You'll manage a team of 4, including in-house PR, and work closely with external social and influencer agencies. A strong background in PR and social media, preferably within the retail or fashion sectors, will be essential. You'll also have a key role in managing relationships with stakeholders, influencers, and media to drive brand reputation and successful campaigns.
The role is a hybrid position, with the expectation to be in the office two to three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement PR, Social, and Influencer strategies for the brand.
Manage PR and influencer activations, ensuring they align with brand strategy and deliver on KPIs.
Oversee events, activations, and influencer partnerships, continually seeking innovative ways to elevate the brand.
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and talent to enhance brand reputation.
Set and manage the PR & Social budget, ensuring cost efficiency and impact.
Deliver regular reports on campaign performance to key business stakeholders.
Lead and develop a team of 4, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.Key Qualifications:
Proven experience in PR and social media management (5+ years), ideally within the retail or fashion sectors.
Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering successful, integrated campaigns.
Experience managing agencies and external stakeholders, including influencers and media.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and within cross-functional teams.
Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams.
A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving and campaign execution
