SITE MANAGER

LOCATION Stroud
HOURS 07:30 - 16:30
TYPE Temp/ Perm/ Freelance
DURATION 12 months
RATE OF PAY £250 - £270 / Day
BRIEF
LEGGWORK is working with a Cotswold-based Contractor on a high-end refurbishment project on a Grade 2 listed building, near Stroud. We are looking to get the candidate started in the next week, however, this is flexible depending on the right candidate. An individual with an advanced background in High-end restorations and refurbishments in the residential sector will be ideal for this role.
Ideally, the candidate will have a trade background as well as having strong management experience. The client is looking at taking someone on permanently after a preliminary period of time, however, they are also interested in freelance candidates.
WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF ME?
To utilise your experience and knowledge that you have built over time to help solve any minor issues that arise on site
Read and correctly Interpret drawings and plans in order to communicate a clear plan to Tradespeople and sub contractors
Have the ability to clearly explain tasks and instructions to other members of the team
Be able to motivate a team and keep morale high.
Able to oversee a team and keep on track with task deadlines
Liaise with the higher management regarding ordering materials
Other duties as required
Reliable, hard-working, and good attitude
WHAT WILL I NEED?
A healthy amount of experience in site management roles
A broad understanding of the various roles on site
An up-to-date and well-organised CV
Two recent work references
NVQ's and relevant qualifications within this field are desirable
Reliable plan to commute to work
Be available to interview within the month
SSSTS or SMSTS Ticket
