Job Description

ES Steel are a prominent construction firm within the Nuclear and Defence sectors, delivering projects that prioritise safety, reliability, and sustainability!

This position is ideal for time served MMA stick welders with a preferred background in the Nuclear or Defence industries.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in MMA stick welding on a site, have completed a recognised welding apprenticeship and be able to demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality.

If you are meticulous, skilled, and thrive in high-stakes environments, this role is for you.

* Perform high-quality MMA welding tasks adhering to BS EN ISO 9606 standards.

* Current or lapsed MMA/111 welding codes covering plate welding in all positions except vertical down will be accepted.

* Proficient in fillet and butt welding on 12- 15mm plate, mainly in the overhead position.

* Ensure all work meets the stringent safety and environmental requirements.

* Participate in the re-testing process to verify welding qualifications.

* Work within established shift patterns, including potential overtime.

* Maintain compliance with all necessary site certifications.

* CCNSG is preferred but not essential.

In return you’ll receive hourly as below + Lodge Allowance of £337.12 per week and a bus allowance of £25.84.

* £27.12 per hour (basic, 38 hours)

* £37.97 per hour (Overtime A)

* £48.82 per hour (Overtime B)

* £2.72 bonus per hour (paid periodically)
