Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time
Pay: £85-£100 per day

About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant specializing in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. In this role, you will work closely with students in Key Stages 1 and 2, supporting their individual learning plans and fostering their emotional resilience. The role requires someone with experience in managing challenging behaviours and a proactive approach to creating an inclusive and positive learning environment. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in January 2025.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with SEMH or similar needs.
• Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 3, SEN Diploma, or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
• A positive and patient attitude, with a passion for helping children thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans.
• Use positive behaviour strategies to support students with challenging behaviours.
• Encourage social and emotional development through structured activities.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to parents and staff.
