Salary: £34,253 - £37,000 (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a Data Protection Adviser to work within the Legal department to support the Data Protection Officer and the wider organisation in all areas of data protection, including responding to data subject rights requests, undertaking data protection impact assessments and providing day to day advice to the organisation. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of two days a week on site in Poole.

Your Role
As a Data Protection Adviser, you will work with the team focusing on:
- Ensuring the RNLI responds in an appropriate and timely manner to data subject requests
- Providing data protection support, training and audit across the organisation
- Ensuring the data protection risks related to the RNLIs engagement of data processors are effectively managed
About You
As a Data Protection Adviser, you will need to be a good communicator with a clear eye for detail and work well on your own initiative. To be considered you will need:
- Data protection experience or relevant qualification
- Be familiar with a wide range of regulatory issues
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop strong relationships across the organisation
