Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Design Administrative Assistant to support a dynamic design team, specialising in jerseywear.
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with a background in fashion design and a strong portfolio, looking to kickstart their career in the fashion industry.
The role combines hands-on creative involvement with essential administrative support, providing a comprehensive introduction to the design process within a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Sample Management - steaming, organising, and preparing samples for meetings and presentations.
- Managing sample trackers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- CAD & Design Updates - assisting with updating CADs and ensuring all files are accurately maintained.
- Supporting the design team in creating CADs and presentations as required.
- Trend Research & Compilation - conducting trend research and creating visual inspiration boards.
- Supporting the design team in compiling insights and mood boards for upcoming collections.
- General Administrative Support - ensuring the design studio is organised and well-maintained.
Person Specifications will include:
- Degree in Fashion Design or a related field (menswear focus preferred).
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Must ideally be able to drive due to the location and nature of the role.
