£550 - £650 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role
We are working with a Multi-Academy Trust of secondary schools in Havering who are seeking confident Graduates to work as Unqualified Teachers. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on daily supply or in longer fixed term supply contracts.
As an Unqualified Teacher, you will be responsible for leading lessons of approximately 30 pupils in the absence of the class teacher. Based on your subject specialism, you will be supporting students in the absence of the teacher. Unqualified Teachers will be responsible for teaching students at KS3, GCSE and A-Level. Successful Unqualified Teachers are adaptable, flexible, motivated, confident and organised, they have a passion for education and supporting young people.
This role provides a great opportunity to gain experience of working within a Secondary school prior to applying to Initial Teacher Training. Although previous experience of working in a Secondary School is desirable it is not essential. Unqualified Teachers at this trust of schools have been given additional support and training to help them become fully qualified teachers after 1 year of teaching.

Requirements
The desired Unqualified Teacher will:
- Have obtained a bachelor’s degree in a subject taught in the UK Curriculum or equivalent education.
- Be a natural leader and someone with the confidence to lead a lesson in the absence of the class teacher.
- Be passionate about education and providing the highest possible level of support to young people.
- Have an ambition of becoming a qualified Maths Teacher.
