Parts & Goods Controller

About the Role

As a Parts & Goods Controller, you will be responsible for managing the inventory of parts and goods, monitoring stock levels, processing parts requests, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role is essential in supporting our operations and keeping everything running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and review inventory levels, ensuring depot and van stocks meet minimum seasonal requirements.
• Process parts requests from workshop and Field Service Engineers, purchasing components when necessary.
• Check, code, and authorise invoices to ensure timely processing.
• Oversee receipt, allocation, and secure storage of parts, maintaining clean and organised parts areas.
• Maintain accurate stock and supply documentation, including the Company COSHH register.
• Monitor and remove obsolete stock, arranging returns for credit.
• Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy.
• Assist Field Service Engineers with parts references and process their SD sheets promptly.
• Handle parts-related queries and manage returns, including warranty claims, with accurate record-keeping.

• Ability to manage stock effectively and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle queries professionally.
• Previous experience in inventory or stock management is preferred but not essential.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards.
