Job Description

Application Development Lead Analyst Position Overview: This positions primary responsibility will be to translate software requirements into microservices using Java and Spring Boot to be deployed on OpenShift / AWS. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize his tasks. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project. Responsibilities: Translate requirements and use cases into functional REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot to be deployed on OpenShift. Collaborate with frontend developers and Onsite development team. Provide support in maintenance of Prod and Preprod applications. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the APIs. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization Skills. Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests. Qualifications Required Skills: Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot and other Java frameworks, Strong experience of database systems, such as RDBMs (Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2), for data storage and retrieval. Strong experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs. Strong experience in caching concepts like Redis and multithreading. Experience working in an Agile development environment. Experience working in OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes. Experience working on Kafka both publishing and consuming messages. Experience writing test cases in Junit, Mockito framework. Knowledge of React and Node is a plus. Knowledge of IT infrastructure, Linux, and networking concepts. Ability to work with Code versioning tools like GIT and Knowledge of CICD. Strong experience in API design and performance tuning concepts. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices. Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly and independently learn new skills. Required Experience & Education: 6 years of experience College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience. Desired Experience: Exposure to AWS Healthcare experience Location & Hours of Work: Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate. Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India, with flexibility to work remotely as required.
