The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that all equipment and systems are maintained at optimal performance levels. This position involves assisting the maintenance team in performing repairs, conducting routine inspections, and promoting a safe and efficient working environment. Requirements: Matric or Grade 12 / NQF 4 learning ability A relevant qualification is an added advantage 1-3 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities role. Responsibilities: Assist in performing preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment and machinery. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. Support the maintenance team in repairs and installations of various systems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies. Help maintain a clean and organized work environment. Collaborate with other departments to facilitate maintenance requests and ensure minimal disruption to operations. Perform minor repairs and tasks under the supervision of skilled maintenance staff Key Skills: Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and develop maintenance skills.
