Job Description
Are you a fully qualified English teacher with experience teaching students up to GCSE level?
Do you have a passion for working with children and developing their personal skills?
U-Educate are working with an excellent secondary school in Southampton who are actively looking to speak to experienced English teachers who hold QTS and have previously taught any of the two variations of the subject – Language or Literature.
U-Educate are looking for someone who holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has at least 1 year of experience teaching GCSE English to students in Key Stage 3 and 4. This is a great opportunity for experienced professionals looking for the next step in their career who are not necessarily looking for a permanent commitment.
The successful candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education)
* Have extensive experience teaching Science up to GCSE level (Ideally A Level)
* Be passionate about working with children
* Have excellent behaviour management skills
* Be able to manage and oversee the progress of up to thirty students per class on a daily basis
* Hold or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce only)
