Job Description

Salary: 55k + Car Allowance / Company Car + Annual Bonus

Location: Garston

Duration: 12 month secondment starting Jan 25 finishing Jan 26

What you'll be doing:

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a COMAH solvent distillation facility, implementing and ensuring adherence to safe systems of work on site.

Managing and leading a shift and day team, ensuring key targets are met and performance is managed.

Reporting and dealing with any non-compliant waste / products and any service, safety and environmental concerns.

Directing and Coordinating all operational aspects on site, particularly improvement projects and day to day operational activity.

Working closely with the engineering and maintenance teams to deliver robust engineering solutions to meet plant availability targets

Managing the site in line with the Veolia Minimum Requirements toolkit standard, environmental permit requirements, relevant ISO standards, VMS and any other relevant standards.

Reporting on plant performance including budgets, plant availability and project progress (including outages)

What we're looking for:

NEBOSH general certification

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering,

Leadership level 6 or equivalent industry experience

Previous supervisory experience in managing a multidisciplinary team in a relevant industry

Experience operating within a COMAH environment, including regulatory compliance such as but not limited to DSEAR, LOLER, PUWER, PSSR
