Overview:
Are you a Computer Science Teacher (preferably with QTS) looking for a dynamic new Head of Department role in an excellent secondary school with a rich history?
Do you enjoy inspiring students across KS4, KS5 and KS5 with engaging Computer Science lessons?
This school are seeking an enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher who lead with passion and energy to their growing Computer Science Department.
You will be expected to deliver high quality lessons to a diverse group of students, helping them excel in their language skills and cultural understanding.
This role is for a permenant position.
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred, however any experience of being a Computer Science Teacher within the United Kingdom will be looked upon very favourably.
You will need to:
* Work as a Head of Computer Science Teacher by planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
* Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
* Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.
* Adhere to school policies and procedures, including those related to child protection and safeguarding.
* Within your role as a Computer Science Teacher you will need to teach both the KS3 , KS4 and KS5 Computer Science Curriculum.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Computer Science Teacher within a Secondary School.
* Qualified Teacher Status (Preferred).
* Strong knowledge of the KS3, KS4 and KS5 Computer Science Curriculum.
* Confidence in maintaining a good code of behaviour.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students
