Job Description
CK Group are recruiting for an Operational Chemist, on behalf of a leading provider of industrial waste management services, to be based at their site near Peterborough.
Salary:
Up to £27,000 per annum.

Operational Chemist Role:
The main purpose of this role is to perform analysis of waste and other samples to relevant accreditation standards providing technical input into method validation and development of new methodologies, both individually and as a member of a team.
Your duties will include:
Assist with hands-on operation of waste acceptance and transfer into either landfill or treatment.
Uphold site compliance with permitting by monitoring material coming into site and communicate non-conforming wastestreams.
Responsible for stock management, stock summaries and month end.
Facilitate all site sampling requirements including Thornhaugh site.
Assist with running of all operations including Soil Treatment Pad Weighbridge and de-bagging operations.
Background:
We require for a graduate in chemistry (HNC minimum) or related subject with analytical chemistry focus.
