About the Role:
My client, an internationally recognized leader in the built environment, is seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join their renowned team of over 80 MEP engineers in their London office. Known for delivering innovative, sustainable solutions on landmark projects, they offer the chance to work on complex schemes across various sectors both in the UK and internationally in a variety of exciting sectors including; Data Centres, Healthcare, Science & Research, Commercial Etc.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll contribute to cutting-edge design engineering services, collaborating with Senior Engineers and Associates to produce sustainable, high-quality design solutions. You'll gain exposure to a variety of projects while developing your skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed mechanical engineering designs for building services, validating through hand calculations and precise methodologies.
Prepare technical specifications, design schedules, reports, and project correspondence.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including coordinators and engineering experts, to deliver cohesive project outcomes.
Represent my client in project meetings and engage effectively with professionals, clients, and suppliers.
Take charge of specific engineering tasks, ensuring timely and high-standard project delivery.
Contribute to project and financial management while working alongside your team to add value to each project.
Continuously grow your skills and mentor graduate engineers, interns, and trainees.Requirements:
Experience within an engineering consultancy, with a track record in project design from concept to detailed stages.
Competency in AutoCAD and Revit, with experience in making design amendments.
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office and HVAC calculation software, such as IES.
Knowledge of British standards and excellent communication skills.
