Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Canary Wharf
Up to £47,000
This is an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services on their established contract in Canary Wharf. Working for a market leader in building services maintenance, this offers the successful shift engineer a great chance to work on a prestigious site as part of a growing maintenance team, with all the opportunities of personal training and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works and emergency response on site, being part of the engineering team. Working Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, the maintenance engineer should be Electrically biased, holding City and Guild / NVQ qualifications and have at least 3 years experience in the maintenance sector.

Main duties
To identify, diagnose, and rectify faults, performing repairs, adjustments, and maintenance tasks as necessary.
M&E Planned and Reactive maintenance - EML and Fire Alarm tests, AHU, FCU, minor Plumbing and Fabric maintenance, lighting & lamping repairs etc.
Execute routine servicing, repair, and adjustment of machinery or equipment according to scheduled maintenance plans designated by the Engineering Supervisor/ BSM's.
Employ a flexible approach to encompass additional skills or trades, prioritising cost-effective completion of all assigned tasks.
Ensure optimal plant and equipment efficiency by meticulously adhering to prescribed requirements and instructions for each task.
Fulfill any reasonable duties as assigned by the Building Services Manager or Engineering Supervisor. Requirements
Full time apprenticeship in an electrical or Building Services HVAC discipline complete with City & Guilds 236 part 1 & 2 certification.
Prior experience working within a commercial building doing M&E building maintenance
18th edition is highly desirable Salary and Benefits

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
