About the role


We seek an enthusiastic and experienced Remuneration Manager with a detail-oriented, solution-driven mindset and a ‘can do’ attitude to join our Performance & Reward team. As the Remuneration Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing performance and reward frameworks to attract, motivate, and retain top talent across FSI. You will collaborate with key stakeholders, including HR business partners, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Risk, and senior leaders and provide expert advice on remuneration policies, practices and regulatory requirements.


Your role as a specialist within the People & Culture function, under guidance from the Global Head of Performance & Reward, is critical in supporting an inclusive and high-performing culture; driving success through effective performance and reward strategies aligned with our vision, purpose and strategic goals while role modelling behaviours in line with our values and risk appetite.

About you

Your experience


  • Experience in total rewards and compensation within organisations of significant complexity or consulting on remuneration to complex organizations.
  • Proven experience in implementing and administering comprehensive compensation and rewards programs, including salary structures and incentive plans.
  • Demonstrated experience advising senior management on remuneration-related matters and influencing stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global work environment.
  • Understanding of accounting principles related to financial metrics and variable incentive plans.
  • Advanced experience using HR information systems, compensation analysis and benchmark tools to manage and analyse compensation data.


Your skills


  • Strong knowledge of performance and reward principles, market trends, best practices, and compliance with relevant employment laws and remuneration regulations across various jurisdictions.
  • Ability to manage and interpret large complex data sets, conduct market research, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, maintaining a quality approach to work while demonstrating a professional demeanour with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work as a team member, using initiative and being a self-starter, ensuring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Advanced analytical skills with a passion for driving employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement orientation, constantly seeking opportunities to enhance performance frameworks and reward programs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (experience with Power BI is beneficial).
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business, finance, or HR-related discipline.


Your day-to-day

Performance and Reward Support


  • Support the business through the provision of remuneration advice that is commercial, compliant and aligned to FSI vision, mission and strategy
  • Provide benchmarking, external market data/insights and remuneration related advice and proposals
  • Advise on job architecture, remuneration and performance frameworks to motivate diverse high-calibre talent, drive high-performance and support an inclusive culture
  • Collaborate with the Global Shared Services team to maintain and update compensation data and ensuring accuracy and data integrity
  • Analyse remuneration data and trends to identify areas for improvement to ensure FSI’s remuneration strategy remains competitive and fit for purpose, including processes, automation and enhanced reporting capabilities and mitigation of risks
  • Assist in incentive plan design and administration


Regulation and Governance


  • Support the Senior Remuneration Manager in the compliant application of relevant remuneration regulatory requirements (MIFIDPRU, AIFMD and UCITS)
  • Support in drafting papers for submission to remuneration related committees and boards
  • Assist with regulatory reporting and disclosure requirements
  • Maintain material risk taker identification and communications
  • Draft and maintain detailed Standard Operating Procedures clearly defining governance, processes, roles and responsibilities for remuneration related tasks
  • Annual Remuneration Review
  • Provide sound remuneration advice and analytical support to HR Business Partners and People Managers for the annual remuneration review
  • Assist with job evaluation, salary benchmarking, pool funding recommendations, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance with regulations (including pay out process requirements)
  • Conduct regular audits and seek stakeholder feedback to address any issues and system enhancements to ensure our Remuneration system and HRIS continues to align with organisation needs
