SEN LSA (Special Needs Teaching Assistant)
Kingston
£90- £95 per day PAYE
We are looking for empathetic and positive individuals to join in a long-term, Full-time SEN TA role !!

Our client is LOOKING for a passionate and hardworking member to join their team, the successful candidate will be expected to work with work closely with teaching professionals, helping every child achieve their full potential allowing them to flourish, engage and achieve preparing for life as active citizens. The working environment requires high expectations of learners. You would be working with an exciting curriculum, supporting the students to stay engaged and create fun environment for learners to excel in.
The students at this school are between 2-19 years of age. The staff work together to promote a caring, positive, and professional environment for their students and use their enthusiasm and positivity to make the school a happy and exciting environment.

The Role:
Days Required – Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4pm (Fulltime)
Pay - £90 to £95 per day PAYE (Weekly pay)
Employment Type – Agency (Either Temporary to Permanent or Ongoing Contract)

The Ideal Candidate will:
To be considered for the role, the desirable candidate will have previous experience of working within a School, College or Provision. However, we will also consider candidates that have some of the following:

Childcare Experience – working with children and young people previously (working with children with MSI/PMLD/ASD is an advantage).
Any experience working with Children & Young Adults with Physical Disabilities including Profound and Mutiple Learning Difficulties.
Great interpersonal and communication skills with genuine, caring attitude.
Good communication with fellow peers and support staff.
Creative, enthusiastic, imaginative and caring approach to children with Special Educational needs & Disabilities.
A willingness to learn and have a genuine enthusiasm to make a difference.
Teaching Assistant Qualifications or above preferred, but not necessary.Your Main Duties:

Offer support for the school’s students before, during and after their lessons.
Assisting students with their understanding and participation in tasks.
Help promote each student’s love of learning.
Actively participate in team meetings.
Always follow the regulations pertaining to Safeguarding.
When required, support individual’s needs, including assisting with a wide range of medical and occasionally, personal care tasks and physical support where needed (Training will be provided in giving medical care and support).
Working either on a 1:1 or group basis to support learning.
Inspiring and engaging with children with a wide range of additional learning needs.
Assisting with the personal care needs of pupils, which may include feeding, changing and manual handling (TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL).As an agency worker you are only paid for the days you have worked. Therefore, you will not be paid during the school holidays.
