Location: St Augustine’s Priory, Ealing
Salary: £35,000 (Pro-rata for term-time)

Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Chef Manager to join our team. As a Chef Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, developing innovative menus, and leading a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create well-balanced, nutritious menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and preferences
- Manage and optimize the catering budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality standards
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve operational excellence
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and suppliers
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols
- Identify opportunities for growth and innovation in menu offerings, service delivery, and operational efficiency
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Continuously monitor and improve customer satisfaction through proactive communication and feedback implementation
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu planning and execution
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and support a culinary team effectively
- Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes
- Strong financial acumen, including budget creation and management
- Proficiency in menu development, considering nutritional value and diverse dietary needs
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control protocols
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing circumstances
- Proficiency in using kitchen management software and inventory systems
- Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends
