Learning Support Assistant - Maidstone (PMLD Specialism)
Full-time, Monday to Friday
£83.33 per day

Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Maidstone
School: Highly-Regarded Special Needs School
We are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join an outstanding special needs school in the Maidstone area, supporting secondary-aged students with PMLD. This is a unique opportunity to work within a nurturing and inclusive environment, where you can help students flourish both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group support to secondary students with PMLD, assisting with learning activities and daily tasks.
Offer personal care support, including help with toileting and feeding, while ensuring each student's dignity and well-being.
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement tailored Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and manage behaviour effectively.
Create a supportive, safe, and engaging atmosphere that encourages students to achieve their full potential.What We Offer:

Strong communication skills, patience, flexibility, and a positive approach.
Willingness to undergo necessary background checks and obtain clearances.
